Voice your concerns at work rules

Sir,

I AM writing to voice the concerns of those of my constituents who are self-employed within the construction industry.

The forthcoming regulations to prevent agency-registered workers from claiming self-employed status for tax purposes has the potential not only to make such workers financially worse off but could also reduce their employment flexibility, often an important asset for such workers.

I should advise anyone who is going to be affected detrimentally by these regulations to write to their own Member of Parliament in order that they may bring to the government's attention the genuine concerns of legitimately self- employed workers and the potential damage that these new regulations could do.
