WATERWAY TO GO: Edmund Nutall is using a temporary Universal bridge from Mabey Support Services to carry works traffic for its West Coast Main Line site in Staffordshire across the Coventry Canal. Mabey's £35,000 contract for the 22.5 m span, 17 t bridge supports Nuttall's work on the Trent Valley Four-tracking scheme between Tamworth and Lichfield.
