WATES has clinched a £12 million deal to refurbish an office block in the West Midlands.
The firm beat Sisk to the deal for developer Capital & Counties. The 1970s block features two interlinked towers on Hagley Road, close to Birmingham city centre.
The first part of the deal is a £4 million redevelopment of the car park around the office.
The second will be a refurbishment of the office block.
Construction will start this summer and finish next year.
