Wates wins Chelsea academy deal

Wates Construction has won a deal with the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea to build the 1,060 place Chelsea Academy in Lots Road, London.

The £29 million scheme has been designed by Feilden Clegg Bradley Architects and is set to start in spring 2008.

Work is expected to take up to two years to complete.
