West Lothian gets improved sports facilities

Scotland's sports minister Stewart Maxwell has announced that the Government is to invest £1.2 million in grassroots sport facilities in West Lothian.

The Government funding will go towards the development of community projects in Fauldhouse and Broxburn, including the modernisation of the swimming pool and sports hall at Fauldhouse Community Campus.

Mr Maxwell said: "This is an exciting time for Scottish sport and this Government is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of all Scots through increasing participation and supporting the improvement of local facilities such as Fauldhouse Community Education Centre and Broxburn United's Albyn Park."
