Wetherspoons pub plan for Carlton Hill

JD Wetherspoon has applied to extend and convert a former supermarket in Carlton Hill, in the East Midlands, into a pub.

If the plans are approved, the pub giant is expected to invest £1 million in the project and have the venue opened by the end of the year.

The move comes after the group was given planning permission for a new pub in Woodborough Road, Mapperley.
