Wood burner

A £60 million wood-burning power station is to be built on Teesside.The Wilton 10 power station, owned by SembCorp Utilities UK, will create 400 jobs during construction and power around 30,000 homes.The pioneering project is expected to be operational by mid-2007. It will burn around 300,000 tonnes of wood a year.
