Workers find time capsule

A TIME capsule found by builders at a luxury flats complex in one of London's smartest streets is being incorporated into the development's entrance.

The capsule, described as a 'posh whisky bottle'was found at Multiplex's Manresa Road project in Chelsea. It dates back to 1895.Workers opened it and found newspapers, coins and other memorabilia.

The bottle was taken to the British Museum, cleaned up and presented to the client on the project, former City banker Julian Simmonds.

Mr Simmonds is understood to have paid over £30 million for the former Kings College building in 2002. It is being turned into 15 flats for the super-rich.
