Yorkon cooks up Pizza Hut prefab deal

OFFSITE construction specialist Yorkon has taken away a £1 million deal with restaurant chain Pizza Hut to manufacture its new outlets.

The York-based manufacturer signed a deal with the global giant to produce a raft of new restaurants.

The Portakabin subsidiary will now produce off-site assembled restaurants for proposed openings in Walsall, Loughborough and Peterborough.

The move follows the building of the chain's latest restaurant in Colchester.

Yorkon director Keith Blanshard said the partnership highlighted the increased demand for modular building methods.
