ISG wins £50m of retail work

ISG’s UK retail business has secured £50m of new projects in 2013.

Work includes projects for Morrisons, Primark and John Lewis Partnership, all of which are repeat customers for ISG.

The contracts have resulted in a 45 per cent increase in ISG’s UK retail order book to £148m at the end of April 2013, up from £102m in December 2012.

ISG chief executive David Lawther said: “I am delighted to be able to announce ISG’s continued success in the retail sector.

“We continue to win work under frameworks with both new and repeat customers, thereby strengthening our market-leading position.”

ISG has also landed a four-year appointment to a £40m-per-year framework with a leading high street chemist.

The fit-out specialist issued a £3m profit warning in January 2012 after retail clients cancelled a number of projects.
