Jack Dromey takes shadow housing brief

Labour MP Jack Dromey has been appointed shadow housing minister as leader of the opposition Ed Miliband completed his reshuffle today.

Mr Dromey, who previously held the post of shadow planning minister, replaces Alison Seabeck MP who has moved to the defence brief.

He will face housing minister Grant Shapps at the despatch box.

Mr Miliband announced last week that former environment minister Hilary Benn was to become shadow communities secretary.
