Bids submitted for Oman airport catering facilities

The Transport and Communications Ministry has received bids from 15 companies for the contract to provide design and construction supervision services for catering facilities at Muscat and Salalah airports.

The bidders include four local firms, Al-Hatmy Engineering Consultancy, Al-Manarah Engineering Consultancy, Amjaad Engineering Consultancy, and Gulf Engineering Consultants; two Australian companies Hassell, and Meinhardt; two Netherlands-based firms, Netherlands Airport Consultants, and Tebodin, two UK-based companies, Atkins, and K Home International; Jordan’s Dar al-Omran, US-based Ghafari Associates, Germany’s I&O Industry Planning & Organisation, Lebanon’s Khatib & Alami, and Finland’s Poyry (MEED 23:2:09).
