Firms withdraw from $1.3bn Dubai airport deal

The joint venture of South Africa’s Murray & Roberts, Japan’s Takenaka and the local Al-Habtoor Engineering (HMRT) has pulled out of its $1.33bn contract to build Concourse 3 at Dubai International Airport.

Murray & Roberts announced it has failed to agree contract terms with the Dubai Department for Civil Aviation Authority (DCA).
