Partnerships for Schools has announced a list of law firms that will provide professional support for local authorities entering Building Schools for the Future.
The 17 companies on the framework will work with councils to help them select and effectively manage contractors on the £55 billion BSF scheme.
The companies on the framework are:
DLA Piper UK
Mills & Reeve
TPP Law Limited
Trowers & Hamlins
Wragge & Co
PfS chief executive Tim Byles said: “It is now more than four years since PfS launched the adviser frameworks, and over this time we have seen the importance of local authority teams being able to easily access professional support that is committed to the objectives of the BSF programme, while also guaranteeing competitive rates and value for taxpayers’ money.
“The Legal Advisory Services Framework will also provide a forum to ensure that good practice is captured and embedded across BSF projects.”
The two-year framework will run from July, with a possible extension of up to two years.
