Sunderland University advertises £30m capital framework

The University of Sunderland is seeking contractors to join its major capital framework for construction.

The framework will deliver £30 million of capital work until 2013/14 subject to a funding review.

Works will include the implementation of the £75m two campus development programme, predominantly focused on refurbishment of the existing building stock with some new build extensions.

Subject to funding, opportunities may arise for new build developments with the Universitie’s private sector partners.

Contractors require £10m public indemnity insurance to be considered for the framework.

PQQs should be submitted by 16 February 2011 and up to six operators will be selected.

If there is a requirement for Aluminium Doors, Windows and curtain walling, please can we be considered as a Sub-Contractor?
We also specialise in Structural Glazing.
