£1bn offsite housing framework up for renewal

LHC is in the early stages of procurement for the renewal of its UK-wide £1bn offsite housing framework.

The framework, known as NH1, will offer offsite systems delivered by a main contractor or consortium, delivery of modular houses, apartments and multi-occupancy buildings, and delivery of rooftop units.

It will replace the current NH1 framework that was launched in November 2014 and expires in October this year.

LHC, which develops housing, schools and public buildings frameworks for public bodies, is now preparing to hold workshops with prospective bidders before tenders are invited.

The framework will be broken down on a regional basis, in line with the previous one, which LHC hopes will attract more SME suppliers. Interested companies can register now at procontract.due-north.com.
