81-home Hammersmith riverside development approved

Developer A2Dominion has been granted planning permission for its 81-home riverside project in Hammersmith, London.

The scheme, designed by Assael Architecture, will provide 18 one-bed, 46 two-bed and nine three-bed apartments for sale.

It will include eight affordable homes.

The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham approved the scheme.

The development will replace a redundant 1970s office block, which will be demolished, providing commercial space for a restaurant with river views and a new Thames pathway segment.

A2Dominion development director (London) Danny Lynch said: “We’re pleased to have been granted permission for the redevelopment of Queens Wharf, which will enable this prominent riverside site to be brought back into use.

“The scheme, located close to the historic Hammersmith Bridge, has been carefully designed to deliver quality homes which will be built to meet Level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.”
