Genesis Housing Association to deliver 10,000 homes over the next 10 years

Genesis Housing Association is set to establish framework agreements to build 10,000 homes over the next 10 years.

The association, which already owns and manages 33,000 homes across London and the East of England, is planning to deliver 1,000 homes a year for a 10-year period across these regions.

Genesis is inviting contractors and architects to tender for these frameworks.

Under the terms of the tender, Genesis will establish framework agreements with the successful bidders, which will start in September 2015 and last for an initial period of four years.

Contractors who are chosen for the network will be involved in programme of works including new build housing and conversion work.

Shortlists and invitations to tender will be issued in April.
