Housing association the Hyde Group has launched two new construction frameworks worth more than £1bn.
The first main contractor framework agreement will be made up of eight lots, based on value and location, and is worth around £1bn.
The eight lots are for above and below £5m in Kent; for below £5m, up to £10m, and above £10m on the south coast; for above and below £15m in London; and for work above £25m in all regions.
A second £100m modern methods of construction framework has also been launched across London, the south coast and Kent.
Hyde Group business development director David Gannicott said the frameworks would help Hyde “build new homes that people are proud to live in”.
He added: “At the same time, they also reflect Hyde’s ongoing commitment to exploring the use of modern methods of construction in future housing stocks.
“They provide a great opportunity for us to forge closer working relationships with local authorities and other housing associations, who can come on board and take advantage of these new framework agreements.”
