Kier bags £13.7m Birmingham housing projects

Kier Partnerships Homes has won £13.7m in two further schemes through the Birmingham Municipal Housing Trust.

The projects, on Grange Farm Drive and Owens Croft in Kings Norton, will deliver 104 new homes for rent and sale.

Owens Croft will see 23 affordable homes and 26 for open market sale.

At Grange Farm, 29 affordable homes will be built, with 26 open market sale properties.

Both sites will feature a mix of flats and two, three, and four, bedroom houses.

The properties will be built to Code for Sustainable Homes Levels 3 and 4, and fitted with A+ rated appliances.

BMHT is securing funding through the Homes and Communities Agency.

Kier Partnership Homes’ managing director Chris King said: “We consistently deliver on our commitment to provide high quality affordable homes for our framework partners and we are delighted to be working on another project with BMHT.”

“We are able to ensure a smooth one-team approach to all our projects, which is key to any client. Working with BMHT, we will guarantee the local community a well-designed residential area as a lasting legacy of the framework.”
