MITIE wins £28m refurb contract with A2Dominion

Housing provider A2Dominion has selected MITIE for a four-year contract, worth £7m each year, to handle refuribishment of 2,000 properties in the South of England.

Beginning on 1 April, MITIE will deliver specialist work from asbestos removal and installation of energy efficdiency measures, including external and internal wall insulation and energy monitoring devices.

Work will also include kitchen and bathroom replacement, as well as electrical rewire and remedial works.

Peter Griffin, director for social housing at MITIE, said: “We have an extremely good relationship with A2Dominion and are excited to be working with them again to support in the upgrading of their housing stock.”

Andrew Evans, executive director (operations) for A2Dominon, said: “We are pleased to have awarded this four year contract to MITIE, and look forward to strengthening our relationship as we work together to deliver quality repairs services for our residents.”
