Stamford Homes’ new managing director

Housebuilder Stamford Homes has appointed Chris Bond as its new managing director.

Mr Bond joins from Galliford Try, Stamford Homes’ parent company, where he was managing director. He has taken up the post at the company’s Peterborough head office at a time when the business is looking to expand.

Mr Bond said: “I am really excited to be here at a time when the group is pushing for aggressive growth within the housebuilding business. We have the perfect opportunity to buy a number of new sites, and to expand both in terms of volume and geography.”

Stamford Homes has recently announced new homes plans for Carholme Road in Lincoln, Greens Norton in Northamptonshire and St Ives in Cambridgeshire – which has already taken its first reservations.
