Scottish Water tenders £100m spray lining framework

Scottish Water is looking to set up a four year framework, worth between £60 million and £100 million, to provide spray lining services for a mains rehabilitation programme.

Between two and five firms will be appointed to the framework, which covers the water company’s regulatory period from 2010 to 2014.

The agreement could also be extended by a further two years.

In addition to the main job of spray lining existing water mains using PU and Epoxy lining methods, the framework also covers excavation and cleaning works, as well as testing of CCTV systems and replacement of fittings.

Work will be allocated directly by Scottish Water or in conjunction with one or more of its delivery partners.

Contractors have until 9 November to express an interest.
