Harworth presses on with speculative units at Logistics North in Bolton

Harworth Group will speculatively develop two new commercial units covering a total of 4,800 sq m at its Logistics North site in Bolton.

The developer said it was committing to the speculative development due to a lack of small units under 10,000 sq m in the North-west.

Other moves at the site include construction starting on a 1,800 sq m Aldi store, with a new Costa coffee unit set to commence next February. The two new commercial units will be aimed at occupiers with manufacturing or logistics operations.

Logistics North has more than 370,000 sq m of space over 100 ha consented. In the last three years, almost 140,000 sq m of space has been developed or is under construction.

CN Awards

Harworth Group financial director Andrew Kirkman is one of 62 industry leaders who will judge the 2017 CN Awards.

This year’s awards include the Best International Project and Best Residential Developer awards.
