Roads Investment Strategy - where is the money going?

Following the unveiling of government’s £15.2bn Roads Investment Strategy, here is a breakdown of where the money will be spent.

Of the £15.2bn, £9.4bn was newly committed for 84 schemes across England, with £1.4bn going to the Midlands, London and the North-east and Yorkshire.

Job creation is expected to be the highest in the North-east and Yorkshire, with 1,500 new jobs, compared with 600 in the North-west and 900 in London and the South-east.
