Miller Construction hires three new directors

Miller Construction has appointed three new directors in the South-east and Scotland.

Steve Cresswell becomes area director in the South-east with responsibility for the Improvement and Efficiency South East [iESE] framework and other selected clients. 

He as previously area manager for the South-east at Morgan Sindall.

Scott Alexander, formerly commercial director of Morrison Construction, becomes area director for Miller Construction in Scotland. Before working for Morrison, he was managing director of Marshalls Construction.

Also in Scotland, Martin Smith joins as technical director from Graham Construction where he was framework manager. He has also worked for Amec and Lilley Construction.

Miller Construction chief executive Chris Webster said: “We are delighted with these new additions to our senior management teams.

“Each new director will have responsibility within his region to help drive forward our business strategy, which sees us focusing our efforts on selected markets while promoting Miller as an ‘end-to-end’ property solutions provider, supporting whole-life development and asset management for both private and public sectors. 

“Their wealth of knowledge and experience will be a real asset to our business.”

At the end of 2012 Miller hired Charlie Dunn as regional managing director and David Leishman as commercial director.
