Bob Clark joined Balfour Beatty as a graduate engineer in 1979.

He became managing director of major projects in 2013 before taking on his new role as executive director in November 2013 to help improve operational efficiency.

BBCS UK’s major projects this year have included the M25 Managed Motorways scheme, Heathrow T2B, HMP Oakwood and Blackfriars Station, London.

Lend Lease EMEA head of strategic procurement

Andy Fulterer joined Lend Lease in April 2008 to head up the strategic procurement department for the construction business (then known as Bovis Lend Lease). 

Mr Fulterer has 15 years’ experience in procurement and supply chain management  across a number of sectors including construction, engineering, telecoms and electricity distribution.

Thomas Vale Construction chairman

Tony Hyde is well respected across  the industry as the chairman of Midlands contractor Thomas Vale.

Now a part of the Bouygues Construction Group, Mr Hyde retains overall responsibility for the strategic direction of Thomas Vale Construction and also has responsibility for the group-wide integration of corporate responsibility at Bouygues.

David Philp

Mace head of BIM

David Philp is head of building information modelling with Mace  and is also seconded to the Cabinet Office’s BIM Task Group, where he is chair of the BIM2050 Group.

A fellow of both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the  Chartered Institute of Building, Mr Philp is also a professor at Glasgow Caledonian University.

Paul Toyne

Balfour Beatty Construction Services UK sustainability director

Paul Toyne joined Balfour Beatty’s UK construction executive leadership team as sustainability director in October 2013.

Prior to joining BBCS, he established his own consultancy advising businesses before becoming global sustainability director at WSP.

He was then head of sustainability at Bovis Lend Lease UK during its delivery of projects such as the Olympic Village.
