Notting Hill seals £58m affordable rent allocation

The Notting Hill Housing Trust has signed a £57.8 million contract with the Homes and Communities Agency to deliver 2,310 new homes in London under the Affordable Rent Programme.

The allocation – the biggest awarded so far under the scheme – came as the total funding released by the HCA topped £450m.

Swann Housing Association won the second largest allocation last week, receiving £38.7m to build 1,500 units in London and the South-east.

Other associations granted funding last week include Arches Housing £1.9m, Connect Housing £835k, Quantum, £7.6m Eldon Housing Association £1.2m, Falcon Rural £529k, Hastoe Housing Association £12m, North Lincolnshire Homes £1.6m, Paradigm Housing Group £12.2m, Raglan £7.4m, Wakefield and District Housing Association £6m.
