Ports firm set to gain from Olympic construction

Ports and property firm Forth Ports said today that London's successful bid for the 2012 Olympics has already prompted enquiries from companies looking

to bring in construction and building materials to its Tilbury port

on the River Thames.

The firm delivered an upbeat trading update and said half-year results should be in line with expectations.

Forth Ports said this year should be another year of progress and

it expects a stronger performance in its ports division in the second

half.
