Balfour Beatty and Morgan Sindall shortlisted for £350m Liverpool BSF scheme

Balfour Beatty and Morgan Sindall are understood to have been shortlisted for the £350 million Wave 6 Liverpool Building Schools for the Future deal.

Liverpool City Council is thought to have chosen Balfour Beatty Education and the Morgan Sindall Investments-led Inform consortium for the second phase of its schools transformation project.

A preferred bidder will be chosen in April 2011, and is scheduled to start on site by early 2012.

The winning contractor will work on 26 schools in the Merseyside city as part of the £55 billion BSF programme.
