Bam wins main contract on £25m Jewish centre

Bam Construction has won the main contract to build a £25m Jewish community centre in North London for JCC Ventures.

The contractor has already started work on the 35,000 sq ft scheme, which will also feature a 10-storey residential building containing 14 two-bed apartments, on the Finchley Road site in Hampstead

The community centre will include a large multi-purpose hall, screening room, cafe, drama/dance studios, and meeting and learning rooms as well as office space and a nursery.

Bam is scheduled to finish the construction in early 2013.
