Bids invited for £150m Cornish waste incinerator job

Recycling company Sita is inviting contractors to bid for a £150 million 33-month contract to build a new waste-to-energy plant in central Cornwall.

The scope of the contract covers the design, procurement, manufacture, construction and testing of the new facility, which will process up to 240,000 tonnes of waste per year.

Firms have until 1 November to express an interest in the deal with invitations to tender expected on 15 November.
