Bids invited for £350m national contractor framework

Firms are being invited to bid for a place on the four-year Scape National Contractors Framework worth up to £350 million.

The framework covers new build and refurbishment of everything from housing and education buildings to bus stops and farms across the UK.

Work will be carried out for Scape System Build – a local authority company controlled by Derby City, Derbyshire County, Gateshead, Nottingham City, Nottinghamshire County and Warwickshire County Councils.

Contracts may also be entered into with local authorities, schools, universities, primary care trusts, fire and rescue authorities, NHS trusts, police authorities, health and emergency services and other public bodies.

Pre-qualification questionnaires are due by 20 October. No more than five contractors will be invited to tender.
