Bids invited for £62m Stansted framework

Bids are being invited for a £62 million framework covering minor works as part of Stansted Airport’s capital construction programme from 2011 until 2013.

Two contractors will be appointed to the framework to carry out construction projects valued at under £5m across the BAA-owned airport.

The contract will initially run from April 2011 for two years but may be extended by a further year.

Contractors interested in tendering must have previous experience of working on airport and transport projects.

Firms must register their interest in the framework by 29 October and between three and eight firms will be invited to tender.
