Bids invited for £75m hospital work in Shropshire

Contractors are invited to bid for a four year framework worth £75 million to design, build and maintain healthcare facilities for Shropshire County Primary Care Trust.

The first contract to be awarded under the framework is expected to be the new 7,000m2 Ludlow hospital, worth £27m. The hospital will include GP services, diagnostic and treatment centres and will be built on a site at the Ludlow Eco Business Park, after a deal was struck last month.

A maximum of three contractors will be selected for the four year deal.
