Bids invited for £85m Liverpool mental health framework

Contractors are being invited to bid for a five-year single-operator framework, worth £85 million, covering the delivery of five mental health facilities across Liverpool and Sefton.

The contract, which is being procured by Mersey Care NHS Trust and Liverpool and Sefton Health Partnership, will see the winning contractor carry out the TIME (To Improve Mental health Environments) project in five phases.

The first phase includes two facilities located on Rice Lane and Edge Lane in Liverpool accommodating approximately 70 inpatient beds on each site with an expected GIFA of around 6 100 sq m.

Five contractors will be shortlisted on 22 February. Firms have until 1 February to submit pre-qualification questionnaires.
