Bournemouth Council seeks development partner for 20 year masterplan

Bournemouth Borough Council is seeking a private sector development partner to deliver its Town Centre Master Vision plan over the course of 20 years.

The regeneration project will include the construction of new homes, offices, retail opportunities, and tourism attractions as well as improvements to infrastructure valued at between £200 million and £500 million in total.

The 50:50 joint venture – between the council and a single partner or consortium - is expected to run from September 2010 to September 2030.

Bidders have until 30 October to express their interest in the project. Between six and eight will be invited to tender.
