Brent Housing Partnership to set up £100m framework

Brent Housing Partnership is to set up a four year single operator framework for a joint venture partner to bid with them for housing development opportunities worth up to £100 million.

Projects will be carried out primarily in the London Borough of Brent.

The appointed framework contractor will be expected to fund the initial cost of the construction of new housing as well as design and build the new housing and BHP will purchase it on completion.

The successful bidder must be able at any time to finance construction costs of up to approximately £30 million until the works are completed.

The volume of work is subject to the amount of funding obtained by the BHP.

Firms have until 28 August to submit pre-qualification questionnaires. Between five and six contractors will be invited to tender in September.
