Clugston Construction has won a £40 million deal to build an energy-from-waste plant in Lincolnshire.

The contractor will work on the facility alongside process partner CNIM for Waste Recycling Group. The facility will produce enough electricity to power more than 10,000 homes and businesses.

Clugston Construction managing director Steve Radcliffe said:“Together with our JV partner CNIM, we are delighted to have finalised the contract to design and build the EfW plant for WRG and Lincolnshire County Council.”
