Connect Plus is to hold M25 supplier day

Connect Plus, the consortium heading up the £6.2 billion M25 PFI widening scheme, will be holding a supplier day for subcontractors on 3 July.

The consortium is expected to outline the roles of suppliers in the project and explain the procurement processes as well as providing details of subcontracts to be procured during 2009/10 including:

  • Pavements
  • Geotechnics
  • Traffic Management
  • Civils / Drainage
  • Concrete Safety Barrier
  • Specialist Bridge Repairs
  • Dartford Tunnel (Civil Works)
  • Specialist Bridge Repairs

The Connect Plus consortium is made up of Balfour Beatty (40 per cent), Skanska (40 per cent), Atkins (10 per cent) and Egis Projects SA (10 per cent).

The £6.2 billion deal reached financial close last month.
