Robertson to build £40m resi, offices and hotel in Dundee

Robertson has been picked as preferred developer for a £40m mixed-use development in Dundee.

The contractor will build flats, office space and a hotel next to the site of the new V&A Museum in Dundee.

This will include 67 private rented sector flats, 4,645 sq m of office space over four floors and a 120-bed hotel.

Robertson chief operating officer Derek Shewan said: ”Dundee Waterfront is an exciting and innovative development project so we are naturally delighted to be selected as preferred developer for this exclusive, flagship development.”

In December, Robertson revealed group turnover of £298m for 2014/15, with construction accounting for £217.6m – up 12 per cent on 2013/14.
