Contractor sought for £100m Scottish prisons job

The Scottish government is inviting bids to build a £100 million prison to replace exisiting prisons at Peterhead and Aberdeen.

HMP Grampian will accommodate 500 cells with a male adult block, female accommodation block and young male offender accommodation block.

The procurement route for the job will be a single stage design and construct where the design will be developed by the contractor.

Firms have until 21 February to return tenders.
