Crossrail shortlist for remaining central London stations announced

Crossrail has confirmed the shortlisted bidders for the four remaining central London stations.

The Bond Street, Tottenham Court Road, Liverpool Street and Whitechapel stations follow the Paddington and Farringdon lists, announced earlier this year.

The four station contracts are collectively worth nearly £1 billion, bringing the total value of central London stations to £1.5bn.

The shortlisted firms include:

Bond Street £200m

  • ·        Costain / Skanska JV
  • ·        Laing O’Rourke Construction Ltd
  • ·        BAM Nuttall / Ferrovial / Kier JV
  • ·        Lend Lease Construction (EMEA) Ltd

Tottenham Court Road £200m

  • ·        BAM Nuttall / Ferrovial / Kier JV
  • ·        Dragados / Sisk JV
  • ·        Lend Lease Construction (EMEA) L
  • ·        Laing O’Rourke Construction Ltd

Liverpool Street £300m

Whitechapel £250m

  • Balfour Beatty / Morgan Sindall / VINCI JV
  • Costain / Skanska JV
  • BAM Nuttall / Ferrovial / Kier JV
  • Dragados / Sisk JV

Crossrail programme director Andy Mitchell said the six station contracts would be the “major procurement focus” for Crossrail during 2011.
