Dounreay seeks firms for £25m building and civils

A maximum of five contractors are being sought for a new four-year framework at Dounreay worth up to £25 million.

Dounreay Site Restoration is putting together a framework for building and civils, dismantling and demolition services to run from 1 July to 30 June 2017.

Works may include building (masonry, joinery, plumbing, plastering and painting), civils (roads, pathways, groundworks and drainage), minor dismantling (removal and disposal of all internal fixtures and fittings as well as the dismantling of building fabric, plant and equipment) and minor demolition (demolition of buildings and removal of waste products)

There will be two lots for minor and major building and civils services.
