Fastflow scoops £200m AMP5 contract with Northumbrian Water

Utility specialist Fastflow has won a renewal of the £200 million clean water contract, for Asset Management Period 5, with Northumbrian Water.

Over the course of the 10 year contract, which begins in April 2010, Fastflow will carry out water network renewal work, new connections, repair and maintenance, reinstatement and metering works.

Fasflow chief executive Neil Armstrong said: “This contract represents a major milestone for Fastflow. We’re an ambitious company and it provides us with a stable platform from which we can continue to grow the business.

“We faced stiff competition from many of the larger, well known utility contractors, so it’s testament to every employee within Fastflow that Northumbrian Water has chosen to renew such a critical contract with us”
