Five confirmed as £750m framework winners

Kier, Morgan Ashurst, Laing O’Rourke, Bovis Lend Lease and Wates have won places on the £750 million North-west Construction Hub framework as revealed by Construction News two weeks ago.

The decision was confirmed today in a Contract Award Notice published in the Official Journal of the European Union.

The five firms have won places on the high value framework with each individual job worth a minimum of £10 million.

The £750 million framework covers a vast array of public sector construction projects across Cumbria, Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside.

It is thought as many as 12 firms were invited to tender for a spot on the framework.
