Five firms win £80m West of Scotland housing framework

West of Scotland Housing Association has appointed five contractors to its £80 million development framework over four years.

Glasgow-based firms Cruden Building & Renewals, Lovell Partnerships Limited, CCG (Scotland) Ltd and City Building (Contracts) LLP have been appointed to the framework.

Dalry-based McTaggart Construction was also selected from a shortlist of eight interviewed for the framework. In total 70 responses were received by the housing association in response to their initial notice in the Official Journal of the European Union published in November.

The association received 25 pre-qualification questionnaires from which they drew a shortlist of eight companies.

Over the course of the next 4 years the authorities anticipate a continued growth in their capital new build programmes and envisage undertaking housing developments to a value of £80m.
