Five in line for £20m Crossrail Bond Street works

Five contractor teams are in the running for a £20 million advanced works package for the construction of the Bond Street Crossrail station.

It is understood that Carillion, Costain/Skanska, and Bam Nuttall/Kier have all been invited to tender for the 12 month contract also known as C411.

Balfour Beatty/Morgan Sindall/Vinci and Laing O’Rourke/Strabag are thought to complete the line up.

The scope of works includes secant piling, contiguous piling, and bored piling, as well as construction of diaphragm walling.

The successful contractors will also have to build an access shaft including associated civils works, temporary works and propping.
