Glasgow council advertises £80m subbie framework

Glasgow city council is inviting bids for a three year £80 million multi-lot framework covering the provision of various construction services.

Work to be carried out across the 24 lots includes the supply of structural steel, specialist concrete repairs, watercourse maintenance, clock repairs, demolition and structural testing as well as the supply and installation of fireproofing, lightning conductors, and fall protection equipment.

The contract, which will see firms provide these services to a range of council bodies including City Building (Glasgow), could be extended by a further year.

Contractors can submit bids for one or more lots and have until 14 July to submit pre-qualification questionnaires.
