Jarvis Rail wins infrastructure work worth up to £91m

Jarvis announced today that its subsidiary Jarvis Rail has been awarded a Network Rail contract worth a potential £91 million.

The first phase of the contract, to undertake the rail elements of the Mainline phase of Chiltern Railway’s Project Evergreen 3, is worth £55 million.

The majority of the first phase will take place during the financial year starting 1 April 2010.

The second, optional phase, worth approximately an additional £36 million of work, on the Bicester to Oxford line, may commence in April 2011.

Following a successful joint bid Jarvis Rail will be working very closely with Bam Nuttall, as its subcontractor.
